Membership

Membership to the WTPSPC is available to political subdivisions throughout Texas, including cities, counties, independent school districts, cooperative benefit groups, and institutions of higher education.

Organized under Texas Government Code Chapter 791, the cooperative develops requests for proposals and secures contracts for supplemental and medical employee benefits, as well as administers benefits in accordance with Texas Government Code §791.025. Entities may join the cooperative by executing an interlocal agreement.

There are no fees to become a member. Savings and services for members are realized when working with vendors who have been evaluated for quality service and programs. Discounts can be achieved through joining purchasing power of those members in the WTPSPC.
